How to Change Manual Dial Caller ID Settings

If your agents are making manually dialed calls, then you may want to make sure that they are setting their Manual Dial Caller ID.

There are two way of doing this.

1) The agent needs to go to their Settings Tab and click on "Modify Caller ID Settings"

Note: In order for an agent to modify their caller id for manual calls in the "settings" tab, they must be set as an "admin user"


Once they click on that, a new window will pop up which allows them to modify the Manual Dial Caller ID.


Now once the agent logs out and logs back in, they can make a Manual Dialed call with the Caller ID that was placed here.

Please note: If the provider of the caller ID number already has a caller ID name associated with the number, that is the Caller ID Name that will show up on the display. We can not guarantee carriers pass along this information correctly to the end user's phone because it is out of our control..

2) You can change this using your Admin log in.

Simply go to the Admin Tab

Click on the Edit Properties (Pencil) that is associated with your agent.

From that window, you can change your agent's Caller ID settings.


This will be what the Caller ID is, no matter what connection method you are using, Softphone (X-Lite or Zoiper), Dial In or Dial Out.
